window on black river

Final Glimpse (1996)
My cousin’s camp at Effley Falls was a source of many happy childhood memories and for many years, we spent every summer there in the heart of the North Country backwoods, far from the chaos of the modern world.  There were no phones, no electricity other than from a gas generator, and no running water.  Still, we wouldn’t have traded it for anything.  Glimpse captures the view out the kitchen window onto the river below, as it was the last morning that we all spent there together.
