Other Side of the Fence (1999)
Life is a journey, and not just a series of steps taking us from Point A to Point B. It’s a progression of knowledge, understanding, and personal growth both physical and emotional. Along the way, we can’t help but stop and stare at how far others have come compared to us–the startling clear differentiation between the haves and have-nots–and wonder about the what-ifs and the might-have-beens. But just because the grass looks a bit greener on the other side of the fence doesn’t always mean that it is. You can’t tell just from looking what the cost was for that other to gain the so-called greener grass: what they had to sacrifice along the way to reach the point where they are; you can’t just create something out of nothing, after all. And life on the greener side of the fence rarely guarantees happiness, anyway.
