|Between Darkness & Light (1998)|
The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins? Edgar Allan Poe
We set boundaries for ourselves, boundaries for each other. And yet, what are boundaries truly, other than an intangible institution, a guideline by which we measure our lives? There is a time and a place for such things, yes; there would be total chaos if there were not. But is it truly necessary for our every waking moment to be bounded by these lines which exist nowhere else but in our own heads? There are no true boundaries to the imagination, or even to life itself. There are two sides to every story: good and evil, light and dark, and one cannot exist without the other. Yet in between are the myriad shades of gray. So who can say what the boundaries really are…?
