The wilderness separates us from the rest of the world, isolates us from society and brings us face to face with the true nature of what is…and what is not.  It’s a difficult reality to face sometimes, how separated we really are from what’s going on around us: that we can’t see the woods for the trees, because we’re so caught up in all the things that don’t really matter.  The past few weeks have been like that for me in a sense, worrying about things that in the greater scheme of things don’t really mean much and are really only stressing me out.  Sometimes, we just need to step back, separate ourselves from the world, and breathe…
