Flower of the Day

Today’s pick is again from the Chesapeake Arboretum: an oak-leaf hydrangea. Unlike its hybridized cousins frequently found in garden shops, this native variety prefers a bit more shade and damp. This particularly fine specimen was growing along the edge of the woods, and was about six feet tall!
